The Customer Service Support Staff is responsible in providing fast and friendly customer service, directing phone calls, helping as a back-up cashier, and assisting all customers at the Service Desk. Duties and responsibilities Provide Excellent Customer Service Proactively approach customers to identify their needs Direct customers through checkout lanes to minimize long lines Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment Receive and direct customer phone calls Assist Customers to different areas of the store as needed Align with company programs to drive consumer loyalty Maintain store safety standards and store cleanliness Assist with Point of Sale Verify customer identification in order to adhere to policies for serving minors Process transactions efficiently Balance a register drawer and accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions All other duties as assigned Qualifications 1-3 years of customer service experience Ability to use technology applicable to the position Dress and present self in a clean and professional manner Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Requirements Must be 21 or older Must pass background check Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
