Job Description

Objective:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Customer Service Specialist is responsible for linking the gap between what our customers need and what we deliver, allowing us not only to meet but exceed their expectations. The Customer Service Specialists will go above and beyond for a customer to solve customer problems and make them feel valued.
Responsibilities:
Professional handle incoming calls from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly Receive, document and resolve customer complaints Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone Handle issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company Responsible for compiling and generating reports as they relate to customer service surveys Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: sales, service, deliveries and billing Maintain a balance between company policies and customer benefit in decision making Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience Provide information to customers in response to inquiries about products and services Review sales orders for accuracy and completeness prior to delivery or service Work closely with other departments to ensure customer expectations are clearly communicated and met

Required Minimum Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace Previous customer service experience or administrative experience Has "thick skin" and is able to handle complaints and unpleasant customers Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude Strong detail orientation and listening skills Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
Physical Demands:
Employee may be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time Employee may occasionally be required to transverse through office, showroom, and warehouse locations Employee will frequently be required to actively listen and exchange information Employee will be required to observe and assess information received via a computer Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Requires frequent use of computer and telephone
Work Environment:
The employee is exposed to a normal retail office, showroom, and warehouse environment May require travel (Approximately 5%)
