Summary The Customer Service Support Coordinator will support Hillsdale College by assisting with calls and emails. They will be responsible for Undergraduate Admissions as well as assisting with Imprimis and Online Support. The individual will serve as a representative of Hillsdale College and our Admissions to prospective students of the college. The Customer Service Support Coordinator will w ork with other Admissions Team offices and several departments across campus to serve perspective students. The Customer Service Support Coordinator is a full-time hourly employee of Hillsdale College. The position will report to the Customer Service Support Manager of the Hillsdale College Contact Center and will work closely with Admissions. This position will facilitate and oversee all Admissions relations in the contact center as pertains to undergraduate admissions and summer high school programs. They will also assist in adjacent tasks under the Customer Service Support Manager and within the Contact Center. Essential Job Functions Support Admissions with calls and emails regarding in-person education, status of applications, and general Hillsdale knowledge. Support the Customer Service Support Manager with any email and sms responses as volume requires. Work in coordination with Admissions team to stay up to date on admissions deadlines and program changes. Well versed in admissions programs and software in order to handle detailed application questions. Assist with updating information regarding admissions within the Contact Center to stay up to date and current. Assists answering questions about high school summer programs and taking payments for those programs
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Great customer service skills Must be knowledgeable of basic office technology and computer software. Possess good grammar skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadline pressures. Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision Ability to work within a team Education and Experience This position requires a Bachelor's degree or a combination of education, training, or experience that fulfills the needs of the position.
Other Skills:
Suppress, unsubscribe, and escalate privacy policy requests as needed.
Assists with return mail processes:
Sorting - completing data processes Assists with other email inboxes as needed Occasionally assists with phones Perform additional duties as the Manager or Director may assign
Physical Demands:
Ability to read, write, hear, speak, see and communicate effectively. Ability to operate basic office equipment. The position is largely sedentary.
