Summary Retail Client Services Manager Job Summary The Retail Client Services Manager is responsible for driving strong retail execution and serving as a key liaison between retail field teams, internal partners, and client stakeholders. This role ensures compliance to retail standards, supports strategic initiatives, and aligns execution, sales, and client priorities to deliver against business objectives. Key Responsibilities- Drive retail execution by ensuring compliance across distribution, speed-to-shelf, pricing, planograms, displays, promotions, and point-of-sale placement.
- Identify and resolve in-store execution issues; escalate unresolved barriers with clear, actionable insights.
- Develop and execute sales, promotional, and category growth strategies using data-driven insights.
- Communicate execution status, audit results, and opportunities to clients, headquarters teams, and field leadership.
- Manage client account performance, budgets, and investment strategies to exceed business objectives. Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in retail management, client services, or related field.
- Strong retail execution, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and client-specific applications.
- Associate degree required.
- Ensure compliance in regard to distribution, new item speed to shelf, pricing objectives, planogram conditions, display performance against features and promotional activity and POS distribution
- Work to resolve any noncompliance issues at retail where possible and communicate properly the unsolvable issues
- Perform ride-withs at all levels of the retail organization Tracking
- Audit stores in assigned geography according to executable items
- Track and score retail audits, shipment opportunities, and report all competitive activity Training
- Attend retail meetings to communicate client objectives, general retail trainings, market condition observations and assist in sales training Communication
- Communicate the progress on the executables and tracking results listed and communicate all opportunities to the headquarter team/client. Partner with BDM and appropriate Retail Managers to make certain that all promotional activity is communicated to the retail team according to set retail standards and methods.
- Relate findings to headquarter team and client as deducted from retail and/or field contacts and retail meeting feedback.
Education Level:
(Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceField of Study/Area of Experience:
3-5 years of experience in applicable fields 2+ years of supervisory experience Skills, Knowledge and Abilities- Ability to work effectively with management
- Ability to direct, lead, coach, and develop people
- Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically
- Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business
