JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator that can assist our Customer Service & Program Manager in day to day functions as well as support and maintain the performance of AMP's Key accounts. This position works closely with the expediting and operations teams.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of Order Entry into ERP system. Review incoming customer purchase orders for accuracy per quote provided. Forward and timely follow-up on incomplete orders with customer for further processing. Maintain and update accurate ship dates, quantities, costs, and descriptions on purchase orders. Update Procurement and Planning team regarding new orders, changes to existing orders, cancellation requests, and delivery dates daily. Daily interface with Production Manager or Expeditor to track customer expedites. Promptly returns customer phone calls, ensures timely follow-up within 24 hours. Generate weekly open order reports to customers as needed. Filing, scanning, work orders and other administrative tasks Other tasks assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, & ABILITY
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Work efficiently with minimal supervision in a high paced environment. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient with Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and Access.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a customer service-oriented environment required.
  • Familiarity with an ERP Tracking system a plus
EDUCATION
College Degree preferred but not required. Any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, is also acceptable.
PAY AND COMPENSATION
Base Compensation:
Based on experience $24/hr - $29/hr
