PAY RANGE
$24.00-$27.00 Hourly The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Agency Relations Support Specialist will provide customer service support to prospective and participating agencies. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Agency Relations team with programs and projects including but not limited to TEFAP, Brown Bag, Diapers, and Extra Helpings. Works effectively with other department staff members at all levels of responsibility within the Food Bank.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Agency Support & Customer Service:
Respond to internal and external stakeholders' inquiries or concerns. Provides high-level customer service support for agencies, projects, and initiatives, working with the Agency Relations team to meet and/or surpass objectives and key results. Use creative and innovative strategies to deliver satisfied client relationships that result in awareness, references, and expanded networks. Attend departmental activities such as the Annual All-Agencies Conference and other meetings as directed by the manager. Works effectively with other staff members at all levels of responsibility within the Food Bank.
Compliance, Data Management & Reporting:
Provides assistance to prospective and participating agencies in the areas of storage and distribution requirements, food distribution, and food recipient records and requirements as mandated by federal, state, and Food Bank guidelines. Develop, generate, manage, and distribute agency surveys and departmental reports, addressing data quality issues when appropriate. Responsible for collecting and preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly Agency Relations reports. Prepare documents and reports that address and resolve discrepancies, providing strategic solutions. Provides perspective for making informed, data-driven decisions.
Operations, Special Projects & Process Optimization:
Work closely with managing staff to proactively identify and facilitate opportunities to optimize work processes. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (IOC, grants, etc.) to meet customer goals and performance metrics. Work on special projects, recall letters to agencies, audit requests, and allocations. Travel to (using a personal vehicle) various sites throughout Los Angeles County to monitor prospective and participating agencies according to established guidelines. Assist the Agency Relations Manager with ad hoc tasks. Must be able to work 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and be available for work on weekends or evenings as necessary. Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree with an emphasis in Business Administration studies; minimum of 4 years experience in customer service support, preferably in social service environment; or combination of education and experience Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications such as Google and Microsoft Suite, Excel spreadsheets, CRM databases, and presentation decks. Must be resourceful and possess strong analytical skills to spot trends and discrepancies with the ability to think creatively to solve problems. Strong relationship builder with the ability to find common ground, build consensus and strengthen collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Superior interpersonal, writing, communication, and organizational skills are required. Exceptional writing skills with a strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax Strong presentation skills including networking and public speaking. Well-organized and detail-oriented, highly adaptable, and able to maintain challenging projects. May be scheduled to work Saturdays, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job. Possess a valid California Driver's License and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle. Must be able to travel within Los Angeles County as required. Work assignments may include various facilities and hubs across Los Angeles County, including locations in Los Angeles and the City of Industry, CA. Flexibility to commute between Food Bank facilities as needed is essential.
