Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service Dispatch / Freight Broker

Accord Transportation Logistics LLC is a full-service 3PL Freight Brokerage office with one location in Vancouver WA and currently establishing a 2nd office in Palm Springs, CA. These brokerage offices are fully supported by our Accord Transportation LTD asset-based company, located in British Columbia, Canada. The objective is to add motivated, conscientious individuals to help grow our presence in the US market, while simultaneously working closely with the asset-based company to support overflow freight.

• Ensure timely and efficient movement of freight from origin to destination.
• Build carrier relationships / carrier sourcing.
• Build upon existing strong customer relationships, expand and grow where possible.
• On board and carrier source new carriers, build on existing carrier relationships.
• Must have extensive experience in rate negotiations with carriers, experienced in problem solving day to day issues.
• Manage transportation arrangements from pickup to delivery.
• Communicate effectively with shippers, carriers, and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service and advise carriers on priority needs.
• Utilize urgency to resolve issues - claims, detentions, OS&D, layovers, breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate updates on carrier assignments and assist with phone calls.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve results and complete tasks as assigned. Requirements
• Supply Chain Management Experience a required. .Self starter, highly energized, motivated to work.
• Must have customer service experience and OTR logistics experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required. -English speaking
• Excel / Word savvy.
• Works well with others and in a team environment.
