The company's focus was providing quality installations and service to contractors, end-users, and property managers. Many of the employees have more than 20 years of service with Pyro-Comm Systems. In 1996, Pyro-Comm Systems opened their second office in Carlsbad, CA to support clients throughout the greater San Diego area. In 2010, Pyro-Comm Systems opened a third office in the San Francisco Bay area to support clients throughout Northern California. Pyro-Comm Systems has been involved in the design, engineering, and installation phases of Fire/Life Safety, Healthcare Communications, Security Intrusion, Voice & Data, CCTV and Access Control Systems on thousands of projects with Owners, Engineers, Developers and General Contractors. From design, engineering, and code consulting, Pyro-Comm Systems provides "value added" services to Professional Engineers &, Architects, Developers, Contractors, and End Users. About the Job The Customer Service Coordinator provides administrative and operational support in a service environment , managing customer service calls, dispatching technicians, processing invoices, and supporting field operations for fire alarm. This role ensures smooth coordination between service teams, customers, and internal departments. Responsibilities for the Customer Service Coordinator Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding service, maintenance, and inspection inquiries Customer and the service technicians' main point of contact Coordinate with construction project managers, property managers, and other vendors Schedule and dispatch service technicians (# of people for each labor type, time, & day) Requesting material for service work orders Creation and closing of work orders in service department system Attend open work order meetings to assist in scheduling return visits to sites Maintain service records, job files, and project documentation for multiple sites Track open service tickets and follow up to ensure timely completion Prepare, review, and process invoices accurately and promptly Support service supervisor with reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry standards Good attendance and punctuality, with ability to work overtime if needed Experience and Education Minimum of 2+ years of administrative, dispatching, or customer service experience in construction, fire alarm, security, ERRCS, or MDU environments. Professional demeanor, able to interact with others with tact and respect Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills, in addition to use of Outlook Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different computer / software systems Team-oriented with a customer-first approach Positive Attitude High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with good driving history Physical and Environmental Demands Sitting
