What we are seeking:
The Authorizations Coordinator II will be responsible for entering all authorizations into AveannaCare. They will be the point person for all authorization inquiries in the office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Adhere to Aveanna Core Values 2. Process and enter all authorizations for each regional center into AveannaCare 3. Import authorizations and other related documents as needed into AveannaCare 4. Research authorizations as needed with Regional Center staff 5. Communicate with Regional Center accounting department, case management, internal Aveanna Support Services staff & billing teams 6. Alert families and immediate supervisor of significant authorization changes such as cancellations, unit reductions, and unit increases 7. Identify and problem solve issues that require entries to be adjusted 8. Evaluate data issues, report feedback and observations in determining task priorities 9. Performs other duties as assigned or needed The above statements are intended to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required 2. Strong problem-solving skills 3. Minimum of one year of payroll and/or customer service experience within the last four years 4. Excellent interpersonal skills; self-driven, motivated and results oriented 5. Strong analytical and judgment skills 6. Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and ability to learn Aveanna's proprietary software programs 7. Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong organizational skills 8.
