This is more than a front desk position, it's an opportunity to help create an incredible experience for hundreds of dancers and families each week. Our front desk team is often the first impression and we are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, solving problems, staying organized, and keeping things running smoothly. What You'll Do Welcome dancers, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, emails, and messages with confidence and excellent communication skills Assist families with enrollment, scheduling, payments, and general studio questions Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment Supervise dancers on site Support daily studio operations and administrative projects Maintain accurate records and data entry Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families Help create a positive, organized, and joyful atmosphere throughout the studio
We're Looking For Someone Who:
✅ Has a high school diploma or equivalent. ✅ Has exceptional customer service skills ✅ Is extremely reliable and dependable ✅ Is a self-starter who takes initiative without needing constant direction ✅ Stays calm, positive, and professional under pressure ✅ Has outstanding phone etiquette and communication skills ✅ Is highly organized and detail-oriented ✅ Learns new technology quickly and is comfortable using computers ✅ Enjoys working with children and families ✅ Can multitask and adapt in a busy environment ✅ Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience required Experience working with children is strongly preferred Administrative, receptionist, or front desk experience is a plus Experience with scheduling software, email systems, or CRM programs is helpful High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Schedule & Availability This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working during after-school and evening hours when our studio is at its busiest and most exciting.
Expected Schedule:
Heavy part-time position Monday through Friday availability required Typical shifts fall between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM Availability for either regular Saturdays or alternating Saturdays is required Additional hours may be available during special events, performances, recitals, and seasonal programs Because this role is an essential part of our daily operations, reliability and consistent attendance are extremely important. We are looking for someone who can commit to a regular schedule and be a dependable member of our team throughout the year.
