What You'll Do Overview The Electrical Service Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the electrical service team, focusing on technician coaching, performance management, and service excellence. This role centers on developing field technicians, driving operational consistency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and serves as a primary resource for technicians, providing ongoing guidance, direction, and support. General Responsibilities Provide ongoing daily and weekly coaching for technicians Deliver training on service processes, systems, and in-field best practices Evaluate individual technician performance, reinforce expectations, and drive continuous improvement Inspect completed work for quality assurance and address deficiencies with technicians as needed Manage and approve purchase orders to maintain material spend within established targets Control departmental expenses including materials, labor, subcontractors, permits, and financing costs Lead regular team meetings to review performance metrics and implement improvement plans Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, efficiency, and technician scorecards Coordinate technician staffing levels and optimize scheduling to meet service demand Support resolution of customer concerns related to service quality through clear and timely communication Conduct ride-alongs and call reviews to coach and develop technician effectiveness Provide necessary training and resources to ensure a positive experience for both technicians and customers Review and approve technician time-off requests and overtime while managing labor efficiency Remain flexible and responsive to changing operational needs and additional responsibilities Line out and stage electrical job line outs and parts ordering, parts ordering Basic Requirements (Required Skills/ Experience): Experience in customer service Experience with KPI and Accountability Ability to pass a drug screening and background check A current driver's license with a clean driving record Adaptability to constantly changing business needs and additional responsibilities
Preferred Requirements:
ServiceTitan experience is preferred but not required
Compensation:
Starting wage: $60,000- $75,000 plus bonus ($105,000 with performance bonus met) Compensation based on performance measured in metrics
