Job Description
Akicita Federal is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Federal Contracts & Business Development Specialist to support contract management, reporting, compliance tracking, and business development activities across Akicita's federal portfolio. This role is designed for someone with direct federal contracting experience who can manage contract requirements, monitor deliverables, prepare reports, maintain contract documentation, and support leadership with business development and capture activities. The ideal candidate will understand the pace and compliance requirements of federal contracting and be comfortable working across contract operations, recruiting, HR, finance, proposal support, and executive leadership. This position will play a key role in ensuring Akicita stays ahead of reporting deadlines, contract deliverables, option periods, modifications, customer requests, and new business opportunities. Federal experience is required.
