The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, event management, and customer service. If you have a passion for creating memorable experiences and leading a team in a vibrant setting, this role is for you. Responsibilities The Venue Manager of the Hippodrome Theatre plays a crucial role in ensuring that the audience's experience is enjoyable and runs smoothly. They are primarily responsible for managing the front-of-house, bar and box office staff and operations, to ensure excellent customer service, and guarantee the safety and comfort of theatergoers. Customer Service Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all theatergoers and visitors. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, concerns and ticketing issues front of front-of-house, bar and box office. Ensure a positive customer experience.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day front-of-house, bar and box office operations. Implement opening and closing procedures for front-of-house, bar and box office. Schedule and ensure adequate staffing during events for front-of-house, bar and box office. Order stock for bar, box and front of house as needed. For bar monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and track sales revenue. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Staff Management Recruit, train, and supervise front of house, box office and bar staff in accordance of the Hippodrome policies and procedures. Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all performances and events. Procure and train volunteers for usher, will call and other duties as needed. Provide feedback, coaching, and evaluations to maintain a well-trained and customer-focused team. Policy Development and Compliance Establish and enforce front-of-house, bar and box office policies, including refund and exchange policies. Develop and execute operational procedures to ensure compliance. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure compliance with the alcohol license of the State of Florida.
Safety and Security:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons, staff, and performers. Bring safety and security concerns immediately to the attention of HR. Qualifications
