This is a salary position of $35-$40k yr with many benefits included. We are expanding and looking for a supporting logistics assistant who would be responsible for contacting our tenants in need of service and connecting them to our skilled maintenance technicians in an efficient and timely manner to help get more jobs diagnosed and completed on a weekly basis for each designated market. Main responsibilities of a
Logistics Manager:
You are responsible for contacting tenants for their availability, then scheduling a technician in the right location, with the appropriate skill set to match the scope of the work requested. (Will make and take between 60-150 calls a day to customers to help schedule appointments they've requested to repair things in their home that are broken) You will schedule jobs for an initial diagnosis within a 3-hour work window, as well as approved projects, and will stay in constant contact with technicians and tenants till the service is complete. You will provide updates to the tenant if the tech is late, needs to reschedule, or return at a different appointment time. You must excel at building professional relationships with technicians, by knowing how to be friendly and firm so they are motivated and feel appreciated, yet held accountable when necessary to ensure they keep their commitments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Task master and Detail oriented Love working on the phone and computer Typing skills MUST be 30 words+ a minute and will test for speed Ability to work quickly and multi task Reliable and open to feedback Excellent communication and people skills The ability to express empathy and patience Experience with Microsoft and Excel preferred Experience with dispatch and customer service is a plus Trustworthy and accountable High attention to detail and enjoys working with numbers
