Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established organization in the distribution space to hire a Customer Service and Operations Manager. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of the customer service function, including team leadership, order management, and cross-functional coordination with sales, warehouse operations, and vendors.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing team management with operational execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, coach, and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives and purchasing personnelOversee end-to-end order processing, including order entry, pricing verification, and invoicingCollaborate closely with sales, warehouse operations, and vendors to ensure seamless service deliveryAct as the primary escalation point for customer issues and drive timely resolutionSupport warehouse coordination including shipment prioritization, inventory handling, and problem-solvingReview and manage inventory activities including adjustments, transfers, returns, and reconciliationsEnsure accurate documentation and compliance with shipping, receiving, and billing processesMaintain and update inventory records and oversee year-end reconciliation effortsOperations & Office OversightCoordinate shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory commitmentsWork within ERP systems for order management, inventory tracking, and reportingApprove vendor invoices and manage petty cash reconciliationServe as ISO coordinator and support compliance-related initiativesAct as liaison with external partners such as warehouses and property management
