Responsibilities Oversee daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity Lead and motivate a team of service technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance services are delivered promptly Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing transparent communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring their vehicle needs are met with professionalism and care Manage all aspects of service writing, auto estimating, and invoicing to ensure accuracy and profitability Monitor technical work for compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications across various automotive systems such as transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, oil changes, auto body repairs, and more Drive upselling initiatives by identifying additional service opportunities that benefit both the customer and dealership profitability Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all financial activities related to service operations Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques to continuously improve service quality and technician skills Experience Proven dealership experience with comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Strong background in auto service management - GM or Stellantis experience preferred Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong sales skills for upselling vehicle maintenance services and automobile sales support Experience in service writing and automotive repair documentation to ensure clear communication with customers, technicians and warranty submission CDK experience preferred Join us to lead a vibrant team committed to automotive excellence!
