Job Description

Overview Evolve Body Optimize is a modern wellness and recovery studio focused on delivering high-quality, science-backed services in a calm, elevated environment. We are seeking a hands-on Studio Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead a small team, and ensure a consistently exceptional client experience. This role is responsible for executing the vision of the business through strong operational leadership, team management, and consistent service delivery. This is a full-time, player-coach role ideal for someone who thrives in a growing environment and is comfortable both leading and working alongside their team. Schedule & Availability Full-time (40+ hours/week) Flexible schedule based on business needs Includes a mix of: Weekdays Evenings Weekends Expected to be present during peak operating hours Key Responsibilities1. Daily Operations Oversee all day-to-day studio operations Ensure all services run smoothly, on time, and at a high standard Maintain a clean, organized, and premium environment Execute daily workflows, checklists, and operational systems Step in as needed to support front desk and client flow 2. Team Leadership & Staffing Manage and schedule a team of 3-5 staff members Train, coach, and hold team accountable to performance standards Foster a positive, professional, service-focused culture Assist with hiring process and candidate screening Provide hiring and termination recommendations; final decisions made by ownership 3. Membership Sales & Retention Execution Execute membership sales processes and ensure consistent conversion of new clients Support promotions and sales initiatives developed by ownership Lead by example—comfortable discussing services, pricing, and memberships Coach team on client communication and conversion Ensure every client interaction includes clear guidance on next steps Track and report on: Membership sign-ups Conversion rates Retention trends 4. Client Experience Own the in-studio client experience from arrival through departure Ensure all interactions meet high brand standards Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally Maintain a welcoming, calm, and elevated environment Monitor and respond to client feedback and reviews 5. Systems, Admin & Inventory Manage booking system and optimize daily schedule utilization Oversee inventory (towels, supplies, retail items) Coordinate ordering and vendor communication Ensure accurate daily reporting and basic operational tracking 6. Facility & Equipment Oversight Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of all equipment Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance Maintain health and safety standards Decision-Making Authority Full ownership of day-to-day operations and scheduling Responsible for team performance and accountability Executes business strategy and initiatives set by ownership Escalates hiring and termination decisions for final approval Expected to operate independently and proactively solve problems What Success Looks Like Studio runs smoothly without constant owner involvement Team is reliable, accountable, and well-managed Strong, consistent execution of membership sales processes High client satisfaction and positive reviews Clean, calm, premium environment maintained at all times Qualifications 2-5+ years in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or service-based management Experience managing a small team in a hands-on environment Strong communication and leadership skills Comfortable with sales conversations and client interaction Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Able to work independently and take initiative
Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
