Job Description

Job Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for providing leadership and accountability for the service department, and for the performance of service operations. The Service Manager will contribute to our team by: (Duties and Responsibilities) Ensuring all company values are adhered to and promoted. Achieving the objectives for the service department: revenue, margin and expenses. Managing operational objectives for the department: work in process, warranty, training, and efficiency objectives. Appropriately staffing and scheduling personnel for the most efficient and safe performance of the department and ensures all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner, including trucking operations. Managing, motivating and engaging all service personnel in their individual performance, developmental plans, efficiency targets and good work habits. Delivering exceptional customer service. Communicating with all location personnel, particularly technicians, service writers, sales representatives, parts personnel. Promoting KanEquip Service to the local market and staying up to date with education of new products. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, uphold all corporate policies and procedures and continually improve and learn in ways that strengthen our performance and expand opportunities.
