Summary Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Central Materials Supervisor to join our team Lexington, KY! This role oversees critical aspects of supply chain operations within the healthcare facility, focusing onERP utilization, customer service, inventory management, and fiscal responsibilities. This role requiresextensive ERP systems knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to optimizing operationalefficiency and customer satisfaction. 5 days a week; 7:00am-3:30pm; Some Holiday and weekends required
Essential Duties:
Has in-depth knowledge of ERP system processes within own area. Provides direction in discussing and creating development plans with Materials OperationsManager, based on knowledge and expertise with clinical departments. Resolves day-to-day or routine problems using defined processes. Provides input into succession planning process for own work area. Recommend and implement programs, policies, and strategies to increase production and efficientspace utilization. Facilitates and assists with NPR (new product requests) for clinical departments. Collaborates with clinical directors and staff for any product-related needs, including quotes,analysis, vendor rep engagement. Builds customer relationships, interprets customer needs and assesses their requirement. Ensure quality service is provided to the customers and ensures prompt follow-through on customercomplaints and inquiries related to shipment of merchandise and stock-on-hand. Develops and implements modifications and innovations to improve the quality of service to ourcustomers. Audit par locations, where applicable, based on previously identified parameters, for cleanliness,order, expiration, stock rotation and other accreditation standard requirements. Works within budgetary/financial objectives delivered by Materials Operations Manager, whetherthey are hospital or system specific. Qualifications High School/GED Working knowledge of Six Sigma process improvement preferred. 3-5 years' experience in healthcare materials environment preferred. 1-3 years Supervisor-related experience required Work Experience Education If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
