Summary:
A Customer Service Project Coordinator supports quoting, project coordination, and customer service to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and to customer expectations. This role requires knowledge of Halton products, fire suppression systems, pricing strategies, and proprietary software, while collaborating with internal teams, installers, and customers to drive successful project completion and high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives. Maintain electronic project directory folders to be used throughout the project. Generate budget, alternate, and freight quotes. Manage SharePoint requests for testing and permits. Conduct product lifecycle assessments and product selections based on customer input using Halton proprietary software. Provide support in generating live quotations for the final bidding process as required. Provide responsive customer service, including handling inquiries, inspection reports, and post-shipment issues. Assist with project administration tasks and provide backup support for Project Managers as needed. Coordinate with internal and external partners to provide bids for Fire Suppression for quoting purposes. Develop and maintain good relationships with external Fire Suppression installers throughout the USA. Evaluate and generate bids based on price, quality, and availability to ensure strong customer service. Track project progress to ensure drawings, permits, and site work are completed on time. Collect and review closeout documentation to confirm project completion and support invoice approval.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree. 1 year of related experience and/or training. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD. A clear understanding of computers and ability to navigate various software packages including Navision, Microsoft Office, and Halton Design Software. Language Skills Ability to read and speak English Possess both written and oral communication skills appropriate to a workplace environment Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Other Skills Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Misc.
