Award winning employee recognition programs with generous awards Generous holiday bonus for all staff $500.00 employee referral bonus SUMMARY This position is intended to act as a liaison between residents and staff in coordinating work to be performed by the appropriate departments, as well as performing certain clerical, mechanical and IT based duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responds to building emergencies, including fire, water problems, electrical outages, and other emergencies.
  • Dispatch resident service calls to the appropriate department or personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Accounting Department with billing, payment processing, and coding functions.
  • Order departmental supplies, materials, and maintenance-related items as needed.
  • Manage computerized work order and preventative maintenance systems, coordinating work assignments with Maintenance, Environmental Services, and Transportation departments.
  • Ensuring that preventative maintenance and routine checks on certain equipment such as HVAC, Fire Pumps, Fire Extinguishers, etc. are scheduled and completed
  • Maintain equipment records, input equipment data, and manage preventative maintenance scheduling.
  • Record, organize, and file charge slips for Maintenance, Environmental Services, and Transportation departments.
  • Maintains records for the Health Department, inspections and NFPA requirements.
  • Coordinates Maintenance schedules with designated contractors / employees.
  • Maintains and inventories maintenance repair parts and supplies.
  • Maintains excellent relations with residents, clients and all community departments.
  • Obeys all Edenwald policies and procedures.
  • Follows all Federal guidelines relating to resident confidentiality.
  • A self-starter with the ability to generate and close daily work orders
  • Ability to assign work orders to the appropriate department and follow-up with the appropriate department representative on the status of "open" work orders
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple jobs, with constant interruptions and sometimes urgent situations; able to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Outstanding customer service ability and enjoy working with seniors
  • Highly detail oriented

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks at the same time. Ability to communicate effectively and calmly to residents, visitors, and all levels of staff. Ability to work with Director and Managers. Strong ability to use computer systems. Ability to work as a team player. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma AA degree preferred. 2 years' experience in maintenance and plant operations. Proficient in the use of Upkeep Maintenance software, desktop computer and associated office equipment.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
