Job Description

Job description Toyo Seat USA is a Tier-2 supplier of seating components to the automotive industry. Toyo Seat USA has operations in Imlay City,MI, Flemingsburg, KY and Pelham, TN. Toyo Seat USA is seeking an experienced Account Manager to service new and existing customers.

The Account Manager is the liaison between the customer and Toyo Seat for all program and commercial items. The Account Manager will be responsible for insuring all internal departments understand customer expectations. The Account Manager will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities with the customer base.
JOB DUTIES 1.
Coordinate and verify submission of quotes to assigned customer. Clarify customer expectations and requirements including: timing schedules, engineering requirements, pricing, quality and delivery. 2. Negotiate piece price and tooling (production and prototype) with customer. 3. Participate in customer related meetings (as required). Update all Toyo Seat internal departments with Customer expectations. 4. Coordinate execution of Customer requirements with other departments. 5. Production quote and piece price cost walk. 6. Support cost estimating.7. Customer open issues list8. Attend APQP Meetings 9. Customer purchase order management i.e., spot buy, production, prototype & tooling 10. Assist accounting in collection of A/R as required. 11. Develop working relationship with customer that will enhance Toyo Seat business opportunities and growth in market share. 12. Provide cost detail information to customer. 13. Power point presentations to customer 14. Maintain general knowledge of history and current status of Toyo Seat. 15. History of Toyo Seat USA 16. Understanding IATF-16949 and
ISO-14001
Requirements that are associated with Toyo Seat. 17. Assist in training levels of Associates regarding IATF-16949 and
ISO-14001
Documentation Requirements. 18. Follow and promote company safety standards to assure a safe work environment 19. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a business administration, management or other business related and/or a minimum of 5 years professional automotive experience. Minimum 2 years in a role with direct customer interaction. Prior sales or program launch experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough working knowledge of Windows Word, Excel, Power Point; Must have strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Must have knowledge of IATF-16949 and
ISO-14001
Requirements.

Must have knowledge of APQP process and Customer Specific Requirements.
