Tree Service Manager

General Job Objectives:

Responsible for ensuring that our customers expectation for their tree & shrub healthcare and pest control are being met or exceeded.

Essential Job Duties:

Maintain equipment, shop, and warehouse to maximize efficiency of the Technicians. Train Technicians to apply tree and pest care treatments to customer's lawns according to state regulations. Inspect Tree Team work and make corrections and/or adjustments while ensuring they are properly trained. Coach and motivate the team to produce excellent results and meet weekly goals. Address issues the Tree Teams may have with equipment during their daily routes. Provide customer service, evaluate trees, note any issues or concerns; diagnose disease, inspect problems, or other issues. Keep detailed notes about every visit. Communicate with manager about any issues with the equipment, shop or warehouse. Perform duties of Tree Team during periods of short-staffing or customer need.

Desired Experience:

Treecare and mechanical repairs knowledge. Fleet maintenance. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent organization skills; leadership skills; excellent communication skills; problem solving; attention to detail; self-motivated; team player.

Requirements:

Mechanical knowledge and ability to do repairs. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. CDL preferred.
