Customer Service & Sales Manager PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a manufacturing company in Vanderbilt that is seeking an experienced Customer Service & Sales Manager to lead customer service operations and drive sales growth. This leadership role is responsible for managing customer relationships, supporting business development efforts, overseeing department staff, and helping align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities. This is a great opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys balancing customer interaction, strategic sales planning, team development, and process improvement in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing Lead and motivate customer service and sales teams to meet company goals Develop and implement strategic sales plans to support growth objectives Build and maintain strong customer relationships Respond to customer concerns, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction Review market trends, customer needs, pricing, and margin opportunities Develop product knowledge to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for department employees Conduct sales presentations and customer visits to maintain and grow business relationships Prepare sales reports including sales volume, forecasts, and expansion opportunities Monitor competitor pricing, products, and market activity Review unprofitable items and collaborate with production leadership on improvement recommendations Support process improvement initiatives and departmental efficiency efforts Foster collaboration and communication across all levels of the organization What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience required Minimum 3 years of customer service or sales management experience Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management abilities Experience with sales planning, forecasting, and reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Process improvement and continuous improvement mindset preferred Why You'll Like This Job Leadership opportunity with direct customer and business impact Variety of responsibilities across sales, customer service, and operations Collaborative and team-focused work environment Opportunity to help drive company growth and customer satisfaction Involvement in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives Stable full-time position with growth potential Professional environment with leadership visibility Real Talk (So You Know What to Expect) This role requires someone who can balance customer service, sales leadership, and internal coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
