Manager Location:
Kansas City, Missouri A Better LIfe HCN is seeing a candidate for Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the CDS program in compliance with Missouri Medicaid and Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) regulations. This role ensures quality service delivery, supports consumers and attendants, supervises staff, and maintains compliance with all state and company requirements. The CDS Manager serves as a leader and resource for staff, consumers, and caregivers while promoting exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Consumer Directed Services program Ensure compliance with Missouri Medicaid, DHSS, and company policies and procedures Manage and supervise CDS coordinators, support staff, and/or case managers Monitor consumers files, documentation, and care plans for accuracy and compliance Conduct consumers assessments, home visits, and follow-up as needed Assist consumers with understanding CDS program guidelines and responsibilities Support consumers recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts Collaborate with payroll and administrative teams to ensure accurate processing of attendant hours and documentation Monitor Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance and resolve discrepancies Investigate and resolve consumer or attendant concerns in a timely and professional manner Ensure timely completion of audits, reports, and required state documentation Develop and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and consumer satisfaction Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to organizational goals and initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Human Services, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred Experience in home health, Medicaid programs, case management. Consumer Directed Services experienced preferred Knowledge of Missouri CDS regulations and Medicaid guidelines strongly preferred Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required Physical Requirements Ability to travel for consumer visits and meetings as needed Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, vision and life insurance Paid time off 401(k) with company match Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment
