This is a phone-based role where you'll serve as the first point of contact—booking appointments, answering questions, and solving problems with confidence and care. This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading conversations over the phone. You should enjoy helping people, thinking on your feet, and staying organized in a high-volume call environment. What You'll Do Be the First Impression Answer incoming calls and guide guests through booking services with a warm, professional tone Create a welcoming, efficient experience for every guest interaction Manage High Call Volume Handle a steady flow of inbound calls while staying calm, friendly, and accurate Answer questions, resolve concerns, and troubleshoot issues in real time Coordinate Appointments Schedule, adjust, and optimize appointments across all shop locations Make outbound calls to reschedule guests when barber schedules change Communicate Policies Clearly Confidently explain policies around late arrivals, cancellations, and no-shows Set clear expectations while maintaining a positive guest experience Support Shop Operations Help manage barber schedules, including breaks and daily coverage needs Ensure scheduling supports smooth, consistent shop operations Problem Solve with Confidence Think ahead, adapt quickly, and find solutions that work for both the guest and the business Maintain Professional Standards Handle guest and business information with discretion Keep the workspace clean, organized, and professional Who Thrives in This Role Friendly, outgoing, and confident on the phone Not afraid to take the lead in conversations Patient and solution-oriented, even with challenging situations Highly detail-oriented and organized Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and consistent Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Previous customer service or phone-based experience preferred Comfortable using computers and scheduling systems Weekend and holiday availability preferred Pay, Benefits & Growth Hourly pay based on experience and availability 40% off products and merchandise One free haircut per month Performance reviews every 6 months with opportunities for raises Why Hudson Hawk We're a client-focused, team-driven company that values professionalism, consistency, and great service.
