Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Customer Service / Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role sits at the heart of our operations, managing both ends of our supply chain. You will be directly responsible for sourcing and bringing in the raw ingredients and packaging materials required to keep our production lines running, while simultaneously coordinating the outbound transport of our finished products to retailers and customers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities Inbound Logistics & Sourcing:
Procure, arrange, and manage freight carriers for incoming raw ingredients and packaging shipments from multiple vendors in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Outbound Freight Management:
Oversee, schedule, and track finished goods shipping and logistics for nationwide distribution.
Customer Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for retail, wholesale, and private label customers. Professionally and promptly respond to inquiries via phone and email.
Order Processing:
Accurately process and confirm all sales orders, verifying pricing and details. Track shipments and proactively communicate any fulfillment updates or issues.
Inventory & Production Alignment:
Partner closely with production cooks and facility teams to ensure ingredient arrivals perfectly align with manufacturing schedules.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Supply Chain Savvy:
Experience scheduling freight and a solid understanding of supply chain logistics (both inbound materials and outbound finished goods) is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience working within a food production, manufacturing, or sales environment is a major plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with QuickBooks and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication skills, sharp problem-solving abilities, and a flexible, reliable "can-do" attitude.
Schedule & Physical Requirements Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Includes a flexible 30 min lunch break) Friday 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.
Physical Demands:
This is an active role within our facility. Candidates must be able to comfortably stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and regularly lift or move items up to 50 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience and ability.
