Client Care & Canine Rehabilitation Coordinator (part-time) WagHab Canine Rehabilitation Asheville, NC Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer service Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Data entry Organizational skills Full Job Description At WagHab, we provide compassionate, high-quality canine rehabilitation and wellness services in a supportive, relationship-centered environment. We are seeking a part-time team member who is highly organized, emotionally intuitive, dependable, and excited to grow into a more hands-on patient care role over time. This position will begin as part-time (20-25 hours per week)with the potential to transition to full-time. This position will begin with a strong focus on administrative and operational support, while gradually transitioning into more direct involvement in patient rehabilitation treatments and client care. What You'll Do Administrative & Operations Support Provide operational and administrative support for a high-volume rehabilitation clinic Manage client check-in/check-out, payment processing, data entry, electronic medical records, service notes, and referrals within our practice management software Support new client onboarding by processing referrals, creating client records, uploading documentation, and coordinating initial client communication Coordinate appointment scheduling and calendar management, including reschedules, intake completion, and pre-visit communication to help ensure smooth daily operations Assist with marketing and social media initiatives including content creation, video editing, caption writing, email campaigns, promotion of therapy offerings, and client feedback collection Patient Care & Rehabilitation Support (Training Provided) Perform underwater treadmill sessions, laser treatments, therapeutic exercises, and swim sessions with established patients Assist dogs in learning to swim safely and confidently for therapeutic purposes Support rehabilitation therapists during treatment sessions Help create a calm, low-stress, positive experience for both clients and patients Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding appointments, treatments, and patient progress Must be able to lift, bend, swim, and get down on the floor with dogs. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Mature, self-directed, dependable, and highly organized Warm, professional, and comfortable working closely with people and animals Calm under pressure in a fast-paced clinic environment Emotionally intuitive with anxious dogs and clients Detail-oriented with strong follow-through A quick learner who enjoys both structure and variety Comfortable with technology, scheduling systems, and social media platforms Interested in rehabilitation, wellness, animal behavior, or canine fitness Able to work collaboratively while also taking initiative independently Possesses a good sense of humor and genuinely enjoys connecting with clients and their dogs Preferred Experience Professional animal care experience Client-facing customer service or reception experience Administrative or operations experience Experience with social media content creation Dog training or behavior experience is a plus Experience in veterinary, rehabilitation, wellness, or healthcare settings is a plus This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending organization, client experience, creativity, and hands-on animal care into one meaningful position.
