Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Franchise Dealership Service Manager to lead our automotive service department with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive the profitability of the dealership's service offerings. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled technicians and service advisors to deliver top-tier automotive repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape a dynamic service environment, promote growth, and uphold the highest standards of automotive excellence. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the dealership's service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency. Lead and motivate a team of service technicians, mechanics, and support staff to deliver outstanding automotive repair and maintenance services. Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and inspections across a broad range of systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, oil changes, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, auto body repairs, and more. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, transparent service writing, and timely updates on vehicle status. Implement upselling strategies for additional services such as auto estimating, vehicle maintenance packages, and repair recommendations to increase revenue. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while managing inventory levels for parts and tools. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee administrative tasks related to service records and documentation. Collaborate with sales teams to support automobile sales efforts through excellent service experiences that encourage repeat business. Experience Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management or automotive repair operations. Extensive mechanic systems experience with expertise in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems. Demonstrated success in upselling services and managing customer relationships within a dealership or automotive setting. Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing procedures is highly desirable. Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to train staff effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. $70,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
