Job Description

About the Role Elite Door of York is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Manager to oversee the daily operations of our garage door service location. This role is responsible for managing technicians, scheduling and dispatch, customer communication, inventory purchasing, and overall branch performance. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker who enjoys problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare quotes and estimates for residential and commercial garage door services Schedule and dispatch technicians efficiently based on workload and geography Serve as the primary liaison between customers and technicians Handle incoming customer requests, questions, and service concerns Hire, schedule, and oversee office and field staff for the location Manage inventory levels and place purchase orders with vendors Maintain and build positive vendor relationships Review and track financial and performance reports for the location Create and send invoices; ensure timely customer payments Support technicians with job information, parts ordering, and problem resolution Ensure excellent customer service and a professional company image Qualifications Previous experience in service, construction, trades, or home services management preferred Strong scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination experience Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Comfortable using computer systems for scheduling, invoicing, and reporting Leadership experience with small teams is a plus Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills What We Offer Competitive pay Benefits package (health, supplemental insurance , retirement, etc., if applicable) Paid time off Opportunities for career growth in a growing company
