Job Description

Job Summary The Residential Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential home, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care and support. This position requires a compassionate 0person who can effectively coordinate services, and foster a positive living environment for individuals with developmental disabilities,. The Residential Coordinator will work closely with families, and external agencies to promote the well-being and development of each client. Duties Supervise and support families and support staff in delivering exceptional care to clients ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory standards. implement individualized service plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. Implement and follow timely reports to other entities. Conduct monthly face to face visits, ensuring the health and well-being, making necessary adjustments with agency nurse to adhere to plans as needed. Facilitate communication between clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support. Oversee ensure compliance with safety protocols. Manage daily documentaion by prooffreading/ approving daily progress notes Provide mentorship with families/surogate providers. Maintain clear and concise communication with clients team Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong leadership skills to properly support our families as an advocate Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents, families, and IDT teams Must be Bi-Lingual ie Spanish/English some experience with people with disabilities but not required Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion while providing support to clients and families facing various challenges.
