Job Description

Customer Service Supervisor - Avionics MRO Sunvair Reno (Cross-Check Aviation) is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to lead the customer service function within our avionics MRO operation. This role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal departments, ensuring clear communication, accurate quoting, effective account management, and on-time delivery of repaired components. The Customer Service Supervisor manages a small team and works closely with the repair shop to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary customer interface for avionics MRO services, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate communication. Develops and issues customer quotations, reviewing scope of work, pricing, parts availability, and turnaround time. Manages assigned customer accounts, including credit terms, billing coordination, and resolution of account issues. Coordinates closely with the repair shop, quality, and materials teams to ensure work scope alignment and on-time delivery. Monitors turnaround times (TAT) and proactively troubleshoots delays or issues impacting customer delivery. Leads, mentors, and supervises a small customer service team, setting priorities and performance expectations. Handles customer escalations, discrepancies, and technical or commercial concerns to successful resolution. Ensures compliance with internal procedures and applicable FAA Part 145 requirements related to customer communication and documentation. Maintains accurate job status reporting and customer records within the business system. Drives continuous improvement initiatives related to customer satisfaction, workflow efficiency, and communication processes. Communicates effectively with management regarding customer trends, workload, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of customer service or account management experience. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong ability to work within cross functional teams. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interpret technical documentation, work scopes, and maintenance records. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience in an MRO environment. Experience working within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station. Experience with avionics or technical aviation background. Experience with ERP systems. Knowledge of credit management and contract terms.
