Knowledge of the
Plant:
Must know cannabinoids and understand terpenes, at a minimum to be considered. Passion for
Cannabis Education:
A genuine interest in helping people understand cannabis.
Customer Service Experience:
Proven track record in providing excellent customer service in a retail setting.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self Motivated:
A highly self-motivated and ethical individual.
Social Media Presence:
Willing to participate in creating social media content. Posting and sharing social media content.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor.
Schedule Flexibility:
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, AND holidays as needed.
Math Skills:
Intermediate-level math skills for accurate register management.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in using computers and related software.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience:
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Compliance:
Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including cannabis laws.
Sales:
Exceeding personal sales goals and driving repeat business.
Product Knowledge:
Staying up-to-date on products, industry trends, and cannabis laws.
Operations:
Assisting with various operational tasks such as keeping the store and breakroom clean. Keeping merchandise up to date in display cases and other varies duties.
Teamwork:
Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Additional Information:
Age:
Must be at least 21 years old due to state regulations.
Education:
Minimum high school diploma. College credits preferably.
Standing and Walking:
Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.
Technology:
Proficiency in using electronic payment systems.
Background Check:
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A DISPENSARY PERFERRED.
Salary:
$17/hr- Part Time
