Monday through Friday, full-time
Compensation:
Starting at $24 / Hour Looking to hire an experienced Office Administrator / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. This position is a critical part of our daily operation. The right person will help answer phones, assist customers, enter orders, handle office paperwork, and support our sales, warehouse, purchasing, and management teams. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with invoice processing, paperwork, filing, and general office tasks Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers in a professional manner Helping our team manage a large volume of in-person customers picking up orders Entering customer orders accurately Responding to customer questions, requests, and general inquiries Communicating with sales, warehouse, purchasing, and management as needed Helping resolve customer service issues or directing them to the correct person Maintaining organized records and customer information Following up on orders, deliveries, and customer requests when needed Supporting day-to-day office needs and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous office administration, customer service, or order entry experience preferred Strong phone and communication skills Good computer skills, including email and basic office software Strong attention to detail Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks Dependable, punctual, and professional Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience in local distribution is a plus, but not required Who we are looking for: We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and is not intimidated by a fast-paced environment.
