Supervises and directs all cashiers, baggers and cart persons in providing customers with the highest level of service, at all times; manages all aspects of the front end operation with special emphasis on efficiency, customer satisfaction and overall security. Essential Functions /
Requirements:
Providing quality customer service is an essential component of every position within Daves Supermarket stores. Each position serves its own group of customers, which may consist of consumers, co-workers, vendors and business associates. As much care should be given to handling our internal "customers", as the ultimate consumer. Manage all front end related tasks and maintain a constant presence on the front end. Guide all cashier-customer service interactions to reflect Dave's Customer Service Initiative

E.T (Greet, Engage/Eye Contact, Thank—every customer, every time) Provide direction and manage those working on the front end and offer timely feedback. Provide a constant follow up on "New" front end personnel when required and supports all front end training initiatives. Conduct disciplinary measures when required. Enforce all company policies as well as safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Direct customer flow and react appropriately by maintaining an adequate number of check lanes available at all times. Maintain friendly, quick and efficient checkout of customers by monitoring performance of cashiers, bagger clerks and front end staff. Handle customer complaints effectively; involves store management when necessary. Exhibit a keen and acute awareness of all aspects of front end security and take appropriate measures to reduce associate, cashier and customer-related shrink. Designate a qualified person-in-charge when leaving the front end for any reason. Open a cash register, when needed, reflecting Dave's customer service attitude. Supervise 10+ individuals Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.

Experience and Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 3+ years of management experience or equivalent preferred 1+ years of direct supervision experience or equivalent preferred Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office/computer competency required
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a non-stationary position for 90 percent of the time. The employee needs to constantly move about inside the store. They are constantly monitoring employees and occasionally operating a cash register and scanning device. The individual must occasionally position self to crouch, bend, and twist when operating the cash register and bagging grocery items with continuous reaching and simple grasping involved. They must be able to exchange accurate information when interacting with customers and other staff. The individual must occasionally lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
The person performing this job may be exposed to outside weather conditions when assisting customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
