Job Description

Client Service Specialist (Residential Developmental Disabilities Services)
Pay:
$23-$28 per hour (based on experience) We are seeking a compassionate, service-minded Client Service Specialist to support and oversee care for 8 individuals (with growth up to 15) receiving residential developmental disabilities services. This role is centered on ensuring each individual receives consistent, respectful, and high-quality person-centered care. The Client Service Specialist helps create stability, clear communication, and strong support systems so the individuals we serve can thrive in their homes and communities. What You Will Do:
Ensure services are delivered in alignment with each individual's ISP and personal goals Support a culture of compassionate, person-centered care across assigned homes Monitor and review service documentation, progress notes, and behavior documentation to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain close communication with nurses regarding medication changes, health updates, and side effects to protect the well-being of individuals served Communicate clearly with DSP staff regarding care updates, behavioral supports, and medication changes Ensure all medical appointments are attended and that provider recommendations are understood and implemented Provide timely appointment summaries to ensure transparency and continuity of care Build respectful, professional relationships with guardians and county representatives Identify concerns early and take proactive steps to support stability and safety Conduct routine home visits to ensure individuals are receiving attentive, respectful, and consistent support Foster positive relationships with DSPs so they feel supported and aligned in delivering quality care ⸻
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Truly cares about the well-being and dignity of individuals with developmental disabilities Understands that quality care is about both heart and accountability Is organized and detail-oriented Communicates professionally and clearly Can lead with compassion while maintaining standards Has experience in DD services or healthcare coordination ⸻
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Valid work authorization in the United States Clean
BCI & FBI
background checks required Clear 7 Data Registry check required Drug screening required Ability to meet all state and agency compliance standards
