Job Description

Job Overview Dean's Jewelry is a trusted, locally owned jeweler serving our community with quality jewelry, repairs, and personal service. We're hiring a Repair Coordinator to be the friendly, organized point person for repairs and customer care at our Mount Vernon store. You'll be the face customers see when they drop off and pick up the pieces that matter to them — and no jewelry experience is required. We'll train you on everything you need to know. What you'll do Greet customers and take in repairs, carefully documenting each piece with notes and photos Keep customers informed with timely status updates and pickup calls Coordinate repair and special-order timelines so jobs are ready when promised Handle intake paperwork and records accurately Help on the sales floor when needed Deliver a warm, trustworthy experience that keeps customers coming back What we're looking for Friendly, professional, and genuinely good with people Organized and detail-oriented — you keep track of the little things Reliable and trustworthy (this is a position of trust with valuable items) Comfortable with computers and basic data entry No jewelry experience needed — we provide full training Retail, customer service, or administrative background is a plus
Schedule Tuesday-Friday:
9:30 AM - 6:15
PM Saturday:
9:30 AM - 4:15 PM Sundays and Mondays off — full-time, about 40 hours per week Pay $16.00 per hour, plus commission on sales and repairs Your earnings grow as you build the repair business — the more you take in, the more you make
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
