Coffee Manager Bend, OR 97702 $21.20 - $21.25 an hour - Full-time $21.20 - $21.25 an hour - Full-time About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Coffee Manager to lead daily coffee shop operations, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and build a strong team culture. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with a genuine passion for coffee, hospitality, and leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing staff performance, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory and scheduling, and ensuring the café runs efficiently while creating a welcoming environment for customers and employees alike. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Recruit, train, coach, and supervise baristas and café staff Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing levels Operations Management Oversee daily café operations and ensure smooth workflow Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of coffee, food, and supplies Manage vendor relationships and deliveries Ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced Customer Experience

• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Maintain consistent beverage quality and presentation standards
• Build relationships with regular customers and local community members
• Support promotions, events, and seasonal menu launches Financial Oversight Track sales, labor, and inventory costs Support budgeting and profitability goals Minimize waste and improve operational efficiency Assist with reporting and performance analysis Qualifications 2+ years of café, coffee shop, or hospitality management experience Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Knowledge of espresso preparation, brewing methods, and coffee quality standards Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and POS systems Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Preferred:

Specialty coffee experience Food safety certification
