Job Description
Slinky Action Zone is seeking a full-time Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff, support customer satisfaction, and help drive continued growth of the business. This salaried position includes health benefits and paid time off. The Manager will work closely with the CEO, employees, vendors, and customers to ensure the facility operates efficiently, safely, and profitably. This role requires strong leadership, organization, communication skills, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and motivate employees to ensure excellent customer service and professional representation of Slinky Action Zone. Create employee schedules and monitor staffing levels based on business needs, labor budgets, and forecasted activity. Assign daily tasks and ensure operations run smoothly across attractions, redemption, kitchen, and customer service areas. Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees. Resolve customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Assist the CEO with operational, administrative, and strategic initiatives as needed. Maintain awareness of industry trends, customer expectations, and opportunities for improvement. Place orders with vendors and distributors to ensure timely delivery of redemption, kitchen, and operational supplies. Oversee profit and loss performance for attractions, redemption, and kitchen operations. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports. Monitor labor costs, staffing levels, inventory, and expenses to meet budgeted goals. Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices. Complete daily bank deposits and maintain accurate cash-handling procedures. Promote the business through specials, advertising, community engagement, and social media. Maintain or obtain ServSafe Manager Certification. Qualifications Prior management or supervisory experience required. Experience in entertainment, hospitality, food service, retail, family recreation, or customer service preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage staff schedules, labor costs, inventory, and daily reporting. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as needed. ServSafe Manager Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive, professional work environment. Evening and weekend availability required . Compensation and Benefits Full-time salaried position. Health benefits.
