Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the South Suburbs of Chicago ! We are an established printing and packaging company looking to hire someone out of packaging, printing, and paper industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Manage the entire process from quoting to shipment for stock and custom sales to meet required customer specs and special requirements.
Act as liaison between sales, customers, estimating, and production to provide exceptional responsiveness, problem-solving, and customer service.
Work with customers to obtain product specifications for design and make recommendations.
Enter quotes and design requests in ERP system and follow up with customers.
Attend production/project review meetings.
Monitor work in progress against manufacturing schedules to ensure timely delivery and communicate status to customers.
Maintain customer files and records in ERP system to ensure accuracy.
Attend work trade shows to promote company.
Other duties as needed, including general office duties, greeting visitors and providing support to other Account Managers. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS preferred.
Minimum of 3 years account management/customer service experience, preferably in the packaging industry.
Knowledge of manufacturer/distributor relationship a plus.
Exceptional telephone skills, good math aptitude and attention to detail required.
Able to coordinate multiple priorities and projects.
Strong computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office products and Windows.
Ability to work independently and in team environment.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
