We're looking for an organized, personable, design-minded team member to join us at our new Navy Yard showroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, thrives in a small team setting, and is comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with day-to-day operational support. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and sales skills, a great eye for design, and enthusiasm for interiors and materials. No two days are exactly alike, and we're looking for someone who is excited to jump in where needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain our showroom Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Welcome and assist showroom visitors, designers, and clients. Support sales efforts and build customer relationships. Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries. Coordinate shipping and logistics for customer orders. Assist with billing, invoicing, and day-to-day office operations. Help organize samples, orders, and project communications. Support the team with various operational and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong communication, organizational, and sales skills. Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented. Strong eye for design and interest in interiors, materials, and architecture. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced small business environment. Comfortable handling both customer-facing and operational responsibilities. QuickBooks and Shopify experience is preferred, though we are happy to train the right candidate. Interior design background or degree is a plus.
