Assistant Operations Manager (Management Track)

Abilene, TX (In Person) About Us Our company has been serving Texas businesses for over 20 years. We help companies grow through commercial printing, signs, direct mail, promotional products, and marketing materials. We are looking for an ambitious, organized, and customer-focused individual who wants hands-on experience helping run a growing business. This position offers direct exposure to operations, sales, marketing, customer service, and management, with a pathway to a full-time leadership role. This is an excellent opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in business, management, sales, entrepreneurship, or marketing. What You'll Do Serve as one of the primary points of contact for customers Greet walk-in customers and provide exceptional customer service Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries Assist customers with placing orders and requesting estimates Follow up on proofs, approvals, and project deadlines Help ensure projects move smoothly through production Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction Ask satisfied customers for Google reviews Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services Help coordinate workflow and keep projects on schedule Assist ownership with daily operations and business growth initiatives Help create a positive, organized, and high-performing workplace What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and confident communicator Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable speaking with customers in person and by phone Self-motivated and dependable Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Customer service, leadership, sales, or business experience is a plus Current college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply Growth Opportunity This position will begin as a part-time role (approximately 25-30 hours per week) during the training and onboarding period. For the right candidate, the position is expected to transition into a full-time leadership role within approximately 2-3 months. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility in operations, customer relationships, sales, and business management.
