Job Description

Customer Insights Analyst Location:
Irving Texas Length:
9-month contract
Pay:
$40/hr - $45/hr (DOE) The Planet Group is seeking a Customer Insights Analyst to support the adoption and success of our customer insights platform across assigned business teams. This role focuses on driving data-driven decision-making by enabling users with actionable insights, training, and analytics support. The analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders and partners to increase platform usage, improve customer engagement, and unlock opportunities for customer retention, trips growth, and basket upsell.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Shopper platform support and ensure adoption across assigned user groups Provide training, coaching, and onboarding to enable effective use of the platform Drive utilization of tools including: Customer Insight Reports Assortment optimization tools Pricing and promotions modules Partner with user teams to: Identify actionable insights Support customer-centric sales and marketing strategies Act as the voice of the customer Develop and present case studies and insights that demonstrate business value Support ad hoc analytics projects and create presentations for internal and external stakeholders Define and track program success metrics such as: Platform usage Customer satisfaction Business impact Lead customer success initiatives, including onboarding and ongoing engagement strategies Identify and remove barriers impacting project delivery and adoption Gather and analyze user feedback to improve platform experience Monitor market and customer trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in data analytics, customer insights, or business intelligence Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously Experience with customer analytics platforms, reporting tools, or dashboards Strong understanding of sales, marketing, or retail analytics (preferred) Proven ability to drive adoption and influence business decisions Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience working with CPG, retail, or convenience store analytics Exposure to customer segmentation, pricing, or promotion analytics Familiarity with customer success or enablement roles
