Entry-Level Service Writer / Customer Support Coordinator Webster, TX Bay Area Auto is a fast-growing modern automotive repair and collision facility specializing in diagnostics, electrical repair, fleet/recon services, dealer support, and advanced vehicle repair operations. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Entry-Level Service Writer / Service Advisor Assistant to support our front office operations and assist our lead service advisor with customer communication, workflow coordination, and day-to-day shop operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the automotive industry and learn the operational side of a high-level repair facility.

  • DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Customer Communication
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Schedule appointments
  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Gather accurate vehicle concerns and symptoms
  • Keep customers updated throughout repair process
  • Assist with estimate follow-ups and approvals Vehicle Intake & Documentation
  • Create repair orders in Tekmetric
  • Document customer concerns accurately
  • Verify VIN, mileage, warning lights, and symptoms
  • Upload notes/photos when necessary
  • Ensure complete and detailed customer intake Technician Coordination
  • Relay factual customer concerns to technicians
  • Assist in workflow allocation
  • Help maintain smooth shop production flow
  • Monitor vehicle status and stage movement Recon / Production Support
  • Assist in managing HAP and dealer recon units
  • Monitor Rapid Recon stages and aging
  • Follow up on parts, approvals, and stalled units
  • Help maintain production turnaround targets Administrative Duties
  • Enter vendor invoices into Tekmetric
  • Maintain organized paperwork and files
  • Keep front counter and lobby clean/professional
  • Support management with operational tasks
