Mountain West Veterinary Specialists is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Doctor's Assistant/Client Coordinator to join our Exotics Department in Layton, UT. As a locally owned 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital, we serve Northern Utah and beyond, providing exceptional care for a diverse range of species, including reptiles, birds, small mammals, and more!
Your Role:
As a Doctor's Assistant/Client Coordinator , you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they have a seamless experience when they reach out to us. You will also work closely with hospitalized patients and the exotics doctors. Excellent phone etiquette , strong communication skills , and the ability to prioritize and stay organized are essential in this position. If you're passionate about animals and delivering top-tier customer service, this is the job for you!
The Ideal Candidate:
Positive, outgoing attitude with a passion for client care Self-motivated and able to work independently Collaborative team player , eager to contribute to our supportive and enthusiastic team Experience in customer service required Prior Veterinary medicine experience or administrative roles preferred (but not required) Willingness to learn —we offer on-the-job training for the right candidate Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with CT, digital radiology , endoscopy , and ultrasound .
