As a Customer Solutions Coordinator at EDM, you'll support customers and internal teams by managing data, tracking progress, and coordinating communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, comfort with systems and spreadsheets, and a proactive mindset - someone who notices gaps, asks good questions, and takes ownership of getting things right. Primary Responsibilities Customer Order & Logistics Coordination Support the coordination of customer orders from entry through shipment Enter and process customer Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), ensuring accurate documentation and system entry Update customer ship dates as needed and communicate changes to internal teams, including purchasing, to support on-time delivery Communicate order status, changes, and updates internally and externally as needed Help ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and documented Data Management & Reporting Maintain accurate order data, records, and documentation within the ERP system (Global Shop experience a plus) Generate and maintain sales, order, and performance reports to support customer account management Build and maintain Excel-based tracking tools, analyses, and dashboards Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support Work closely with production, purchasing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and support order execution Assist the Customer Solutions team with administrative tasks, reporting, and process coordination Participate in ad hoc projects related to customer service, reporting, or operational improvements Continuous Improvement & Documentation Maintain clear documentation of processes, customer requirements, and reporting methods Identify opportunities to improve workflows, data visibility, and efficiency Support ongoing improvements to systems and processes that enhance the customer experience Key Requirements Prior experience in a manufacturing, logistics, operations coordination, or customer service environment, with exposure to managing orders, data, or customer-related processes Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Strong proficiency with Excel or similar tools, including data entry, organization, and basic analysis (e.g., sorting, filtering, and maintaining tracking sheets) Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, record keeping, and follow-through Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to track tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized across multiple workstreams Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document information, ask clarifying questions, and provide timely updates Qualifications Experience working with ERP systems preferred (Global Shop strongly preferred) Associate's degree (AAS) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience About EDM EDM (Electronic Design & Manufacturing) has been helping customers bring their ideas to life since 1990.
