Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. This role is vital in driving sales, managing daily store activities, and fostering a positive environment for both customers and staff. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in implementing company policies, managing inventory, and supporting team development to achieve operational excellence. Duties Oversee daily store operations, ensuring all activities run efficiently and effectively Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Assist with recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and participating in hiring decisions Monitor POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate transactions and cash handling procedures Support purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and sales management initiatives Supervise shift management duties including scheduling, payroll processing, and cash reconciliation Implement marketing strategies to promote store products and increase foot traffic Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations Experience Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or grocery stores Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across multiple functions Experience with retail math including budgeting, pricing, and sales analysis Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and merchandising techniques Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and training & development practices Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of retail sales strategies including marketing initiatives and promotional activities Join us as a Supervisor to inspire your team while delivering top-tier service that keeps our customers coming back!
