Job Description

The Plumbing Joint is seeking a Office Administrator! We are a family-owned and operated company with 50 years in the business. As the Office Administrator, you are the customer's first contact and therefore you are a key member in upholding our service philosophy to provide the highest level of customer service. The Office Administrator must be goal-oriented, self-starting, and energetic. This person must have genuine empathy for customers and a willingness to help others. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with customers, team members, and vendors. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and accurately. We value highly organized, self-starters who are eager and willing to work cohesively with our team and can work efficiently with minimal supervision. This position entail working at 8 AM

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter customer data on the computer. Schedule Technicians to jobs based on customer issue, tech specialty, and geographic efficiencies. Prioritize, organize, and equally divide all booked service calls Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions Respond to customer requests, via outbound call or email Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business Must be able to show empathy, customer focus, and problem-solving/analysis in needed situations
JOB REQUIREMENTS A
minimum of 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Reliability / Good Attendance Previous experience in customer service of at least 1 year Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Must be able to use general office machines Knowledge of the geographical service area is a plus Strong work ethic, activity level, initiative and integrity Think quickly and handle fast-paced situations Be able to multi-task while completing the tasks at hand efficiently and correctly Schedule appointments for our customers in our dispatching software```Duties```
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries or concerns
  • Assist customers with order placement, product information, and troubleshooting
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns
