Job Description

Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the re-envisioning of our Devices Detail Pages in Seattle. In this key role, you will drive the delivery of high-impact, elevated/ next-generation Detail Pages for Amazon Devices. You will apply your deep expertise in managing complex programs and launching scalable, resilient solutions in a fast-paced environment. As a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative products. Key job responsibilities In this role, you will:
  • Define, design, and deliver software applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product requirements and overall product roadmap.
  • Drive the implementation and delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with multiple agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver on our roadmap.
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams.
  • Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact.
About the team The Device Sales and Customer Experience (DSCX) organization plays a pivotal role in driving the success of Devices and Services, including Amazon Echo & Alexa products, Fire Tablets, Kindle E-readers, Fire TV products, and more. At the core of our responsibilities is the onsite shopping experience, where the team owns the worldwide technology powering the detailed product pages. We also manage the warranties and trade-in/pre-owned businesses, ensuring a seamless customer journey. The focus is on driving incremental sales through personalization, multivariate testing, bundles, upsells for devices and accessories, and installment options. This helps maximize revenue opportunities and cater to diverse customer preferences. Beyond the onsite experience, we are also responsible for creating a best-in-class online subscription experience for subscription-based services. This includes developing an engaging and user-friendly interface to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. To streamline operations, we oversee marketing automation, improving efficiency and reducing manual workloads. Finally, we own data services, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering comprehensive cross product line and cross-channel analytics. This data-driven approach empowers us to make informed decisions and optimize our offerings. Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
