Job Description

Overview A Fixed Base Operator (FBO) Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service at aviation facilities. Here are the key duties for an
FBO CSR:
Responsibilities Customer Interaction and Service :
Greet and assist pilots, crew, and passengers. Provide information about airport services and amenities. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
Flight Coordination :
Coordinate aircraft arrivals and departures with the operations team. Assist with scheduling and managing reservations for hangar space and other facilities. Communicate with pilots regarding weather conditions, flight plans, and air traffic.
Administrative Tasks :
Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services provided, and financial transactions. Process payments and manage billing for services rendered.
Logistical Support :
Arrange ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and catering services for crew and passengers. Coordinate fueling, maintenance, and other technical services for aircraft. Manage inventory and order supplies needed for operations.
Safety and Compliance :
Ensure all activities comply with airport regulations and safety standards. Monitor security procedures and report any suspicious activities. Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols.
Facility Management :
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the FBO. Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition. Manage the availability of refreshments and amenities for guests.
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with other FBO staff members, including line service technicians and operations personnel. Attend team meetings and contribute to the improvement of customer service processes. Provide training and support to new team members. Other Duties as Determined by Management. These duties help ensure the efficient operation of an FBO, providing a positive experience for customers and contributing to the overall success of the facility. Requirements
  • Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
  • Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
